Connecting via the Captive Portal

If the user has an active running bundle

  1. When the user connects to the SSID they will see a screen with their active running bundle, the time left on the bundle and the time and date at which the bundle will expire, the device currently using the bundle and a "Connect" button
  2. When the user taps on "Connect" the connection will switch from the previous device to the device that the user is currently logged in on and operating from and the user should connect to the internet
  3. On iOS devices a success screen will show and then the user can close the Captive Portal, on Android devices the Captive Portal will close as soon as the connection is established.

  1. What bundle will show at the top:
    1. The bundle you have with the least time remaining
  2. What device will show?
    1. The oldest device attached to that bundle (IE if you have 2 devices authenticated on a 7 day bundle the device you connected first will show)
  3. What will happen when client taps SWITCH (Text on button to be confirmed)
    1. The devices shown in the bundle will disconnect from the internet
    2. The device you are currently on will connect to the internet.
  4. What happens if you have an active bundle with no devices assigned? (Active means the timer is ticking down)
    1. The screen will show the bundle
    2. There will be no “device”
    3. The screen will auto authenticate the current device you are on.
    4. This action will happen even if the client has multiple active bundles.
