Note / disclaimer: This document is intended as a reference for ISPs configuring a hotspot profile utilizing VulaCoin. It outlines the essential configuration adjustments required for an Access Point (AP) to seamlessly integrate with VulaCoin. ISPs are encouraged to adhere to best practices when implementing these configurations. Should adjustments to the configuration outlined in this guide be necessary to align with the ISP's network setup, the ISP is responsible for initiating and executing those changes. While VulaCoin provides support for the software aspect, network support remains the responsibility of the ISP.

Here's a brief summary of the VulaCoin integration for MikroTik router:

1. Bridge Creation and Interface Assignment: Initially, a bridge is created on the MikroTik router, and interfaces are assigned to it. This allows for the consolidation of multiple network interfaces into one logical bridge interface.

2. Hotspot Service Setup: The hotspot service is configured on the bridge interface. This service essentially acts as the gateway for users to access the internet through the network.

3. RADIUS Configuration: The RADIUS server is configured to point to VulaCoin's hosted RADIUS (via public IP address). 

4. Customisation of Captive Portal UI: The login.html file used in the hotspot service is edited with a custom VulaCoin script. This customizes the captive portal's user interface to integrate with VulaCoin's login, bundle purchase, and authentication functionalities.

When a user connects to the Wi-Fi network managed by the MikroTik router:

- They are automatically redirected to the captive portal hosted on VulaCoin.

- They follow the UI prompts to log in, purchase an internet bundle through VulaCoin, or authenticate an existing bundle (if available).

- Upon completing the necessary steps, the user is granted access to the internet, and their session is authenticated and accounted for through the integrated RADIUS authentication process.

This integration streamlines the user experience by providing a seamless process for authentication, payment, and access to internet services, all managed through your VulaCoin platform and integrated with the MikroTik router's network infrastructure.
